The Contents of an Estate Plan
Most people are aware that a Last Will and Testament, also known as a Will, sets forth who will be in control of your estate and how your assets will be distributed when you die. A comprehensive estate plan will often also include a revocable or irrevocable trust, Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxy and Living Will. Depending on your situation, all these documents, and sometimes other estate planning tools, may be advisable.
